The Christian Cupboard was established in 1991 by the Ministerial Alliance so local churches could pool resources to support area residents. Our mission is to provide essential food assistance to the residents of Guadalupe County who find themselves struggling to make ends meet.

 

For individuals and families seeking support, The Christian Cupboard offers a supply of consistent basic nutritious essentials. Each box includes a variety of ingredients that can supplement meals or serve as components for a range of dishes. Our offerings include meat and dairy products, as well as both canned and dry goods, so recipients receive well-rounded nutrition they can cater to their needs.

 

Our team of 85+ volunteers keep our services running smoothly providing boxes to roughly 1,000 families per month. We pride ourselves on the fact that there is no paid staff so every cent raised is used to serve local families.
